Ready to Break Free of Parenting Pressures?

Being a parent has its ups and downs. Of course you love your child and are thankful to have them in your life, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t moments when you’d like to give them back or at least take a break from the challenges.

In 2010 I wrote a book called Break Free of Parenting Pressures to help parents with the many struggles that come with being a mom or dad. My goal was to help people tune in to what they might be doing to make their life harder than it needs to be; to give them ideas for changes they might make to decrease challenges in their life; and to remind them they are the perfect person to parent their child – no matter what their neighbor, mother or sister-in-law might say.

This summer, I decided to read this book as a new podcast series. 25 minutes of content seemed like the perfect amount of the book to tackle each week and each chapter offers information that stands fine on its own. This means everything should flow no matter where you start listening and the week in between each reading will allow you important time to really digest what you are hearing.

Whether you are new to the book or have read it several times, I believe hearing it this way, has a good chance of bringing about new insights that can help you create a home life that strengthens, stimulates and destresses you.

Enjoy and have a wonderful summer!
