B52 A Year of Brand New

October is always a reflective month for me, probably because it's my birthday month. I think many of us have this kind of reflective time...not always on our birthdays, but at some point in the year. A time when we look back and think about things such as …what did I accomplish this year? What were my dreams or plans at the start of the year? Have there been any major changes – anything worthy of an honorable mention? What would I like to accomplish in this next year?

I think doing something like this is important, as it allows us to recognize patterns, celebrate the many things we did that we may have forgotten and gain clarity for the year ahead.

My 50th year marked the start of my podcast, so without really realizing it, it was the origin of my sharing a lot of my personal thoughts publicly. 51 was a year of getting a lot of things done and having lots of fun. I didn't share about that year on my show, but I do reflect on it in this show.

Then came B52 - this last year. This was an amazing time of upheaval that I could not have predicted if I had sat for months and contemplated. It was a year of new...a year of discovering my truth and a year of going deep to figure out how my next few years might unfold. 

As I sit here, having just begun B53 it feels really good to have gained clarity and to discover I did so much during a year that felt so unhitched.
