Understanding Parenting – Break Free Parenting Tips
This course will focus on the many skills required to be an effective parent. We will look at the parenting pack, and learn what makes tools FREE (functional, realistic, effective, easy). We will discuss common tools, “frowned on” tools and perhaps even brainstorm a few new tools of our own. When this course is completed you will have a fully loaded parenting pack, an understanding of how to help parents do their best work and plenty of ideas for being a great parent (aunt, grandparent, etc) yourself.
This course can be taken on its own or as course #4 of a five-part training, that when completed (along with internship) results in an Empowering NRG Parent Educator Certificate
