Parenting Job Description

A fun look at what this job really entails:

1. Provide your children with structure and boundaries within which they can safely grow to their full potential

2. Guide your children toward appropriate behaviour by teaching them how to think for themselves

3. Provide your kids with opportunities to grow, try, make mistakes and learn

4. Teach your kids respect by treating them respectfully and earning (rather than insisting on) their respect

5. Be a positive role model especially when it comes to self-discipline, emotional control, and problem solving

6. Let your kids know they are loved unconditionally, that they are very important to you, that you will always believe in them and will have their back when they are in need of support

7. Other duties as required including being on call 24/7 for the next 18 – 25 years.
